The University of Michigan Scleroderma Program is a multidisciplinary group of care givers, scientists and clinical researchers dedicated to advancing knowledge about scleroderma and related conditions. The overarching goal of the Program is to develop effective therapies for the disease and its complications.
CORE elements are:
Clinical care with emphasis on cost-effective outpatient management
Outreach to the community of patients and physicians
Research into the cause, mechanisms and treatment
Education of physicians and allied health professionals
